One glass of water 16oz, one 500mg capsule of Olive leaf, remove powder throw away capsule, bring to boil, let it sit for 3 minutes, tgen strain and cool.
Hard to find much info on this treatment. How long do you think you would need to keep the cotton ball on the eye (while letting some liquid seep in)? The NIH study mentioned 24 hours of contact, so I wonder if just 5 minutes with the cotton ball is enough, and I wonder how many days you would do this for. Is it a lifetime routine to maintain benefits, or would a couple weeks break the cycle such as that which causes dry eye?
The only part I'm not quite sure about. When it is said to rub the cottonball on the eye, do you rub it directly on the eyeball itself with your eyelid open, or do you want your eyelid closed when rubbing? I understand you do let some of the tea seep directly onto the eyeball....just not sure about the rubbing of the cottonball prior to that.
No, i put 1/3 nac capsule powder in the olive leaf tea and use the cotton ball with eyelid closed and let some seep in. That is what i do, you can research further for yourself

Never heard of using either OLE or NAC for issues of the eye. Used to have dry eye attacks 2 - 3 times a year where the lid "fused" to eye just over pupil. Unsuspectingly opening my eye ripped a layer (maybe more) of cells from my eye, instant, intense pain and complete intolerance to light (or air). That'd last for 3 - 4 hours. Blurred vision would last for a day or so.
Trouble with treating it: frequency low enough that couldn't develop a habit of using drops or ointments.
I'll have to find these studies and see how they tested the treatments and how often they were necessary.

Thank you Dr G. I will place an order.
