Great to know. I get it with my daily hemp seed. The body does make it so it's not one of the essential amino acids but as we age it declines like most items our bodies produce.

Thank you doctor, i still remember you told me to take 2grams of Taurine and 500mg OLE for two weeks for tinnitus...that was helpful indeed...i use to take 30-40 mins after meal, later when i got swanson taurine they mentioned to take on empty stomach, so i started 30mins before meal.. so between meals is idea? or 40mins after a meal okay too? would love to know what other taurine users suggest, Thank you!

Or eat more 🥩 and you will get taurine and other amino acids as well.

Or perhaps most that have strokes are deficient in taurine?

It's like the seasonality of flu etc really caused by deficiency in vitamin D due to less sunlight.

these were melas with recurrent stroke episodes, strokes deplete taurine just as infections deplete vit d, but age and metabolic illnesses means replenishment is inefficient and inadequate requiring supplementation

How much taurine is needed?

1000 mg 3-5 days a week, double and every day if you've already had an episode, just a suggestion, the study dose was 9000 mg
