I have a 19 year old cat who has chronic kidney failure and is on a special low protein diet. Wondering if activated charcoal may help her kidney function. Activated charcoal powder slurry is available for pets, but it's indicated use is for emergency poisoning instances. Any thoughts on if it would be worth a try as a supplement on an ongoing basis. I know you don't have all the answers but just curious on your thoughts.
